Strawberry Balsamic Glaze w/ Homemade Ice Cream

Homemade Ice Cream: (Optional)

  • 2 C Whole Milk
  • 2 C Heavy Cream
  • 1 T Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk

Strawberry Balsamic Glaze:

  • 1 Pint Strawberries
  • 2 T Strawberry Dark Balsamic Vinegar
  • 3 T Sugar
  1. Prepare ice cream according to ice cream maker directions. Will be soft serve at this point, or can transfer to a container and freeze. (If you do not want to make homemade ice cream; store bought will work too.)
  2. Prepare strawberry glaze. Wash and quarter or slice strawberries. In a separate bowl, combine vinegar and sugar.
  3. Add strawberries and toss until strawberries are coated. Let sit at room temperature for at least an hour prior to serving.
  4. Serve over ice cream!

Ready in 20 minutes (Plus additional time for ice cream)30 Minutes

Serves 8-10 Person
