MN Olive Oil Co began on a family road trip to Door County, WI and the UP of Michigan. We'd been out exploring when we stumbled across an olive oil and vinegar Store. We all LOVED it. That night we warmed our bread over the campfire and our dinner consisted of bread dipped in oil and vinegar. Our lives were changed. That was the summer of 2018.

Fast forward to early 2019. I (Amy) had been in the photography industry for 8 years and felt a change coming on. I knew I wanted to open some sort of retail destination store but couldn't quite figure out what that looked like. Then, on a date weekend, my husband and I ended up at an oil and vinegar store and said to our selves..."this is what we should do." Our dinner that night? Bread, cheese, oil and vinegar. And wine 😉

Now, we use our oils and vinegars for everything. From cooking - to spicing up our pizza - to drizzling on ice cream - and even sweetening our cocktails. But our favorite thing to do with our kids is still to warm up a few loaves of artisan bread, get out our collection of oils and vinegars and see what sort of combination we can come up with.
