Blood Orange Banana Protein Muffins

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder (I used Quest Vanilla Milkshake)
  • 3 Tbsp Ground Flax Seeds
  • 2.5 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 overripe Bananas (mashed)
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Blood Orange Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tbsp Agave
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl (bowl from stand mixer works great)
  3. Combine wet ingredients in medium bowl
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix
  5. Bake for 8 minutes, rotate muffin pan and cook another 7 minutes. Longer if needed.
