Whole Roasted Onions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Cut the tops off of each onion, but leave most of the skins on.
  2. Arrange onions on a rimmed sheet pan & drizzle with olive oil. Place a thin pat of butter on each onion.
  3. Sprinkle generously with salt & pepper. Top with a sprig of cilantro.
  4. Roast for 25 minutes until tender.
  5. Increase oven temp to 400 degrees. Cook for an additional 30-35 minutes until the tops are browned.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Remove skins, slice & enjoy!

Ready in 1 Hour 15 Minutes

Serves 8-10 People
