- 1 handful Basil, leaves
- 3Â Garlic cloves
- Spaghetti or Linguini
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper, ground
- 1Â Salt
- 1 tbsp Basil Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Cook the pasta according to its package instructions.
- Cut the garlic cloves into medium size slices. Chop the basil leaves roughly.
- In a pan, over medium heat, melt the butter and add the olive oil.
- Toss the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir constantly to avoid burning the garlic.
- Add the basil, black pepper and salt if needed. Cook for a minute. Add the cooked pasta and parmesan cheese. Remove to coat all the pasta with the sauce. Serve.
