Garlic Basil Pasta

  • 1 handful Basil, leaves
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • Spaghetti or Linguini
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper, ground
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 tbsp Basil Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  1. Cook the pasta according to its package instructions.
  2. Cut the garlic cloves into medium size slices. Chop the basil leaves roughly.
  3. In a pan, over medium heat, melt the butter and add the olive oil.
  4. Toss the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir constantly to avoid burning the garlic.
  5. Add the basil, black pepper and salt if needed. Cook for a minute. Add the cooked pasta and parmesan cheese. Remove to coat all the pasta with the sauce. Serve.
