Balsamic Glaze

  1. Pour the vinegar into a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the vinegar thickens and is reduced to about 1/2 cup, 20 to 25 minutes.
  2. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes — the glaze will thicken slightly as it cools.
  3. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
